Welcome to Terpsichore Dance.
Established in 2003, Terpsichore Dance is Hexham's only broad based dance facility offering dance tuition to students aged 2½ and upwards, as well as drama and music.
Since 2006, we have operated from purpose built premises on Fore Street, in the heart of Hexham. Over 70 classes are�held each week in our two fully equipped studios by qualified and experienced staff. We are pleased to offer classes in a range of styles including Ballet, Tap, Contemporary, Jazz, Hip Hop, Breakdancing, Boys only Hip Hop, Cheerleading, Boys only Tap and Club Mix.
Graded Ballet and Tap classes follow the current syllabi of the Northern Counties Dance Teachers Association (est.1925) and (non-compulsory) examinations are taken at least once a year.
In addition, our studios are home to Room At The Top Theatre Company, a drama group for 10 to 14 year olds. Sessions are held each Thursday during term time from 5.30-7.30pm.
